个人简介
An early focus on knowledge engineering has progressed to extracting/exploiting information from big data sources. At Google, I’ve worked on both ends and the middle of data gathering/analysis pipelines. On the brand measurement team, the focus was on A/B testing to establish statistically valid demonstrations of brand lift. I was the tech lead on a benchmarking team that enabled an advertiser to evaluate ad effectiveness by comparing their ad performance with comparable groups of ads. On the brand inventory team, we have developed a new classifier pipeline that supports classifier training experiments and daily classification of web site safety ratings. At USC/ISI, I headed a team that won a series of government contracts that developed leading edge knowledge representation tools. Skills include big data pipelines and analytics, ML classifiers, data logging, signal fusion, curve fitting, data visualization, monitoring, search, e-commerce, knowledge representation. I’m now looking for a fresh opportunity to solve big data problems.
