Rikke Guldborg Hansen

My primary research field involves studying the temporal and spatial distribution and abundance of marine mammals in the Arctic with a particular interest in the effects of anthropogenic and climatic changes on Arctic marine mammals, seeking to understand the long-term effects affecting cetacean population health and dynamics. I seek to bridge the gap between scientific and local knowledge, incorporating both perspectives into research initiatives for mediating communication and outreach.
