About me
Richard conducts socio-legal and doctrinal research at the intersection of criminal justice, human rights and public law. His publications include comments and articles in the Law Quarterly Review, Modern Law Review, Criminal Law Review, Theoretical Criminology and Policing and Society and a monograph, Policing Human Rights(Oxford University Press, 2021). Richard teaches Criminal Justice and Sentencing, Criminal Law and Public Law.He has been a consultant for the Law Commission of England and Wales, a visiting fellow at the University of New South Wales and Managing Editor of the Oxford Human Rights Hub Blog. He is a Lord Denning Scholar at Lincoln’s Inn, London.
