Richard Khoury received the B.Ing. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical and computer engineering from Laval University, Québec City, QC, Canada, in 2002 and 2004, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, ON, Canada, in 2007. He is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence Laboratory, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Waterloo. His current research interests include intelligent systems, machine learning, pattern recognition, and natural language processing. He has authored or coauthored several papers in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences. Dr. Khoury was a referee for several IEEE journals and conferences, including the 44th IEEE Conference on Decision and Control, the European Control Conference, the IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics —Part B, the IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering, and the IEEE/ASME Transactions on Mechatronics.
