Richard H. Chen

Richard H. Chen (Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering and the M.S. degree in communication engineering (electromagnetics group) from National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, in 2008 and 2010, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA, USA, in 2019. From 2010 to 2012, he was a Research Assistant for communications algorithms with the Research Center for Information Technology Innovation (CITI), Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan. He is currently a Post-Doctoral Fellow with the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, California Institute of Technology, Pasadena, CA, USA. His research interests include the development of remote sensing techniques for retrieval of geophysical properties, forward and inverse modeling of electromagnetic scattering, and soil process modeling.
