个人简介
Richard A. Chamberlin received the B.S. degree in physics from the
University of California at Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara, CA, USA, in 1984, and the Ph.D. degree in physics from the
Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, MA, USA, in 1991. His thesis concerned laser light scattering from
micellar solutions.
From 1975 to 1979, he served in the U.S. Air Force as a Weather Observer. From 1991 to 1996, he was a
Postdoctoral Researcher with Boston University. In 1995, he was the first Winter-Over Scientist with the pioneering
Antarctic Submillimeter Telescope and Remote Observatory, which he helped design, build, and test while with Boston
University. From 1996 to 2010, he was the Technical Manager with the Caltech Submillimeter Observatory located
on the summit of Mauna Kea on the Island of Hawaii. He is currently with the High-Speed Electronics Group, National
Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Boulder, CO, USA. His current research interests include
developing instrumentation and techniques for performing mm-wave large signal network analysis.
