R.T. Lopes

Ricardo Lopes received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in software engineering from the Technical University of Lisbon, Lisbon, Portugal, in 2007 and 2009, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in computer science from Delft University of Technology, Delft, The Netherlands, with a dissertation on “Gameplay semantics for the adaptive generation of game worlds,” in 2014. Recently, he has worked in the fields of simulation, prescriptive analytics, and financial engineering. He is currently a Software Engineer at Cardano Risk Management B.V., Rotterdam, The Netherlands. His current research interests include adaptivity in games, player modeling, interpretation mechanisms for in-game data, and (online) procedural generation techniques.
