Smitha Ratheesh

Smitha Ratheesh received the B.Sc. degree in physics from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, India, in 2003, and the M.Sc. degree in oceanography from Cochin University of Science and Technology, Cochin, India, in 2005. She is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree at Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, India. Since 2007, she has been with the Space Applications Centre, Indian Space Research Organization, Ahmedabad, India, where she is currently involved in studies related to modeling of Indian Ocean circulation and development of techniques for assimilating satellite-derived parameters.
