Rahul Kumar

My current research is focused on hematopoietic stem cell (HSC) and their cancerous counterpart (Leukaemia stem cells (LSC) - CML, AML, and B- ALL). I am trying to identify, validate and target the components of cross-talk between the supporting cells (niche) and HSC/LSC. Specifically, I am keen to decipher the role of metabolism, singling network, immune cells, and extracellular matrix proteins during normal cell functioning and pathology. I have a passion for health care and aspire to utilize the same to aid in the innovation of new medical treatments, products, and/or health discoveries.
