Multidisciplinary design, fabrication and testing of electromagnetic and electromechanical transducers, e.g. electrical machines, transformers and wound passive components for more electric applications;
Thermal management for high-specific-output zero-/low-emission applications, with focus on highly effective, ultra-lightweight and integrated solutions, e.g. integrated motor drives;
Techniques for accurate and computationally effective design-optimization of electromagnetic and electromechanical devices, e.g. stochastic optimisation techniques and artificial intelligence.
