Randy Wiles

Randy Wiles has over 40 years of mechanical engineering and design experience. His previous positions include Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) working on the Bellefonte Nuclear Plant at Hillsdale Industries, Knoxville, TN, USA; designing skylights, roof hatches, and smoke vents for industry and private use at Northrop Grumman Remotec, Oak Ridge, TN, USA; and designing, building, and testing robotic equipment for the nuclear industry and for state law enforcement security and national security. In the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), Oak Ridge, TN, USA, he has worked in the Heavy Element Production Program and the Electric Drives Research Program for electric vehicles, drive motors, and wireless charging. He has authored or coauthored over 52 publications. He holds one patent. He has numerous invention disclosures.
