Ricardo Tomé

Ricardo Tomé received the master's degree in geophysical sciences (majoring in meteorology) from the University of Lisbon, Lisbon, Portugal, in 2004 and the Ph.D. degree in environmental sciences in 2013 from the University of Azores, Ponta Delgada, Portugal. After completing the Ph.D. degree, he was employed in PREWind working with meteorological applications specifically developed for wind farms. He is a currently a Researcher with the Instituto Dom Luiz, University of Lisbon working in regional and climate modeling. His research interests include regional and climate modeling, climate change, atmospheric rivers, and developing applications for wind farms based on statistics and regional models.
