He completed internship and residency in Radiation Oncology at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT. He practiced from 1996 to 2000 at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, NY where he was acting Clinical Director of Radiation Oncology and residency director. He has been at Intermountain Medical Center and LDS Hospital since 2000.

Dr. Lee is currently the Principal Investigator for the Radiation Therapy Oncology Group at Intermountain Medical Center, which has been one of the top 10 accruing institutions in North America for several years. He is the leader of the Prostate Brachytherapy program for Intermountain hospitals throughout Utah. He has over 35 publications in peer-reviewed journals.
