个人简介
Research Interests:
My research is concerned primarily with the stratigraphy and paleoenvironmental implications of late Cenozoic aeolian deposits through multiple approaches including magnetostratigraphy, environmental magnetism, and routine physicochemical measurements. I have been involved in the investigation of chronology, distribution and paleogeography setting for Miocene and Pliocene aeolian deposits in western Chinese Loess Plateau since 1998 and of magnetostratigraphy for the Pleistocene aeolian deposits in southern China. Currently my interests lie on (1) The linkage of Eurasian loess with the high-northern-latitude climate, and environmental history during the astronomical analogues for the present interglacial; (2) The provenance identification of loess in southern China and the glacial condition in northern subtropical China; (3) the long-term changes in the magnetic minerals in the late Cenozoic aeolian deposits.
