Qiang Nie

Qiang Nie received the B.S. degree in mechanical design, manufacturing, and automation engineering from Nanchang University, in 2012, the M.S. degree in mechatronics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, in 2015, and the Ph.D. degree in mechanical and automation engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, in 2020. He is currently a Senior Researcher with Tencent Youtu Lab, Shenzhen, China. He holds a number of patents in China, USA, and Europe. His research works have been published in many top international journals and conferences, such as IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, International Journal of Computer Vision, International Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition, European Conference on Computer Vision, Conference on Neural Information Processing Systems, International Conference on Robotics and Automation, and International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems. His research interests include artificial intelligence in human–computer interaction, continual learning, image perception, and 3D vision. He is serving as a reviewer for many of the international journals and conferences.
