Qi Jing

Qi Jing received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in agronomy from Nanjing Agricultural University, Nanjing, China, in 1998 and 2001, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in crop science from the Wageningen University and Research Centre, Wageningen, The Netherlands, in 2007, with a focus on production ecology and resource conservation. He was a Teacher and a Researcher with Nanjing agricultural University. Since 2008, he has been a Post-Doctoral Researcher with Plant Research International, Wageningen University and Research Centre. He was with the Quebec Research and Development Centre, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC), Ottawa, ON, Canada. He obtained the Fellowship of Natural Science and Engineering Research Council of Canada. In 2016, he jointed Ottawa Research and Development Centre, AAFC, Ottawa. His research interests include modeling plant-soil systems for annual and perennial crops, crop eco-physiology, and crop husbandry.
