Prakash Chandra Joshi currently works at the Department of Zoology and Environmental Science, Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya. Prakash does research in Ecology and Entomology. Their current project is 'Impact of gaseous pollutants on foliar surface structures and biochemical parameters of some medicinal plants.'.his group is also working on the status of oak tasar worm in the western Himalayan region, molecular variations in the butterfly species recorded from different altitudes in uttarakhand. However, conservation of pollinators has been his passion, he believes that by conserving insect pollinators we not only conserve the biodiversity but also help local farmers, fruit producers a d florists.
