个人简介
Pierre-Clément A. Simon received the B.Sc. degree in applied mathematics from the University Claude Bernard de Lyon, Villeurbanne, France, in 2014, the M.Sc. degree in nuclear engineering from The Pennsylvania State University, State College, PA, USA, in 2017, the M.Sc. degree in engineering science from the École Centrale de Lyon, Écully, France, in 2018, and the Ph.D. degree in nuclear engineering from The Pennsylvania State University in 2021, under the supervision of Dr. Motta and Dr. Tonks.
He is currently a Computational Materials Scientist at the Idaho National Laboratory (INL), Idaho Falls, ID, USA. He works with the Lower Length Scale Group at INL, and with the Fuel Performance Bison Code Team, where he is involved in developing multiscale, multiphysics approaches. He applies his expertise to understand nuclear materials behavior in a variety of systems, such as light water reactors (LWRs), advanced reactors, and fusion reactors.
