Bio

My main expertise is in psychiatric epidemiology, health economics, and mental health service research, and I am also interested in suicidology and research on stigma and discrimination. In the past few years I have been involved in the Czech mental health care reform, and I am currently leading three nation-wide reform implementation projects (Destigmatization, Early Detection and Early Intervention Services, Evidence-based mental health care development).
