Peter Jesse Gaskill

The Gaskill lab (https://www.gaskilllab.com) studies the molecular mechanisms underlying the impact of dopamine, illicit drugs and dopaminergic therapeutics on macrophages and microglia in the context of neuroHIV and inflammatory diseases using cutting edge molecular analyses, such as high-content imaging and iPSC-derived myeloid cells, to study HIV infection dynamics, myeloid functions such as phagocytosis and cytokine production and the signaling transduction pathways underlying these changes.
