Job position: University professor Current academic position: Rector Organizational skills: Managing of the faculty and university - Dean of the Faculty of Science (2003-2011), Rector (20015- up to now),Quality assurance of higher education - vice rector (20011-2015). Scientific profile: He has been working in the field of Transmission ElectronMicroscopy and X-ray diffraction techniques. He is a member of Slovakian synchrotron community. The main scientific topic of his scientific work is study of the structure and physical properties of amorphous and nanocrystalline metals, prepared by rapid quenching. He is giving lectures since 1992. Subjects are focused on Structural analysis of Metals, Solid State physics, Physics of materials, Technology of Solids.
