Pavel A. Yagoubov

Pavel Yagoubov received the physics degree and Ph.D. degree in radio physics from Moscow State Pedagogical University, Moscow, Russia, in 1992 and 1997, respectively. In 1998, he joined Microwave Department, Chalmers University of Technology, Gotenborg, Sweden, as a Postdoctoral Researcher and worked on the development of superconducting hot-electron bolometer mixers. From 2000 to 2008, he was with the Space Research Organization of The Netherlands (SRON), where he was responsible for the system design of a 500–650-GHz channel for the remote sensor TELIS (Terahertz Limb Sounder)—balloon based spectrometer for atmospheric research. Since 2008, he has been working on ALMA at the European Southern Observatory, Garching, Germany. His research interests include development of superconducting receivers for THz frequency range, quasi-optics, submillimeter wavelength technology, and measurement techniques and applications.
