Patrick J. Haley

Patrick J. Haley Jr. received the BS degree in physics from Siena College, Loudonville, New York, in 1984 and the PhD degree in applied mathematics from Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois in 1991. Currently, he is a research scientist in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge. His current research interests are in multiscale, interdisciplinary ocean forecasting and modeling, and the development of ocean observing and prediction systems.
