Pascal XAVIER, was born in France in 1964. He received the Ph. D. degree in Physics from the University Joseph FOURIER of Grenoble, France, in 1994. He was also graduated from the Polytechnical National Institute of Grenoble in electrical engineering in 1988. From 1994 to 2003, in the Very Low Temperatures Research Centre of Grenoble (CRTBT CNRS), his research interests were dealing with numerical methods for the analysis of coupled thermo-electromagnetics problems (wavelets method of moments) and design of microsensors in the fields of microwaves. He joined the Research Institute of Microelectronics, Electromagnetism and Photonics (IMEP-LAHC) of Grenoble in 2003. His research interests include design, characterization and realization of microwave devices, sensors and systems for environmental applications and bioelectromagnetism. He is now Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Technology University Institute of Grenoble (IUT1), involved in teaching of Electronics and Physics. He’s author of 33 peer reviewed international papers, has presented 43 communications in several international conferences, is reviewer in 8 international journals and has editorial activities in 3 international journals. He also participated in the publication of 2 scientific books and 3 international patents. He supervised 13 PhDs and is currently responsible of the specialty « Optics and RF » in the Doctoral School EEATS of the Grenoble University. Since January 2018, he’s leader of the DHREAMS team (Devices in High fRequencies for sustainable Electronics And for complex systeMS) in the IMEP-LaHC research center. Since January 2023, he's an expert for the ICOS European project in flexible electronics.
