Pascal Falter-Braun

The goal of the institute is to functionally understand the principles underlying the function and evolution of biological networks and their role in microbe-host interactions for human and plant hosts. The long-term objective is to understand and predict how perturbation by natural genetic variation or experimental manipulation causes phenotypes. We perform experimental network mapping on proteome- and module-scale, followed by bioinformatic and experimental functional analyses.
