Pascal Benoit

Pascal Benoit (Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in microelectronics from the University of Montpellier, France, in 2004, and the Habilitation degree from the Montpellier Laboratory of Informatics, Robotics and Microelectronics, University of Montpellier, in 2015. He was a Scientific Assistant with the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, University of Karlsruhe, Germany. Since 2005, he has been a Permanent Associate Professor with the Montpellier Laboratory of Informatics, Robotics and Microelectronics, University of Montpellier. He has coauthored over 130 publications in books, journals, and conference proceedings. He holds five patents. His research interests include the Internet of Things, from smart sensors to gateways, energy efficiency, and security issues.
