I am a research scientist with Ducks Unlimited Canada's Institute for Wetland and Waterfowl Research. My research focuses on the ecosystem services of wetlands in working landscapes. I am particularly interested in how wetlands and the loss of these ecosystems impact water quality, hydrology, carbon cycling, and energy balance at the landscape scale. I am also interested in the multiple stressors affecting wetland quality and function and understanding the implications for the waterfowl that use them.
