I am an assistant professor who joined the Department of Computer Sciences in fall 2015. My research focuses on the theoretical aspects of data management and, more specifically, on problems that arise in modern applications and systems for processing big data. I am particularly interested in theoretical models for parallel query processing, uncertainty in data management and pricing data. Prior to moving to Madison, I completed my Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Washington, supervised by Dan Suciu. Before that, I received a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and a M.Sc. Degree in Logic, Algorithms and Computation from the University of Athens.
