Paolo Tagliolato

Paolo Tagliolato currently works at the Institute for Remote Sensing of the environment IREA, Italian National Research Council. He graduated in Mathematics at the State University of Milan. At the same university he completed the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science in the area of multimedia information retrieval. His research focused on information retrieval, spatial analysis of cellular network data for urban applications (at the Politechnic of Milan), semantic spatial data infrastructures and environmental data management with open geospatial standards (at CNR), and development of Virtual Laboratories architecture as member of LifeWatch Italy ICT working group.
