Dr. Ohman Strickland has statistics/methodological research interests centered on analyses with small samples and categorical outcomes and group randomized clinical trials. She also has extensive experience with statistical applications in Environmental Health Sciences, Family Medicine, Cancer Population Sciences and Emergency Medicine. Within Environmental Health Sciences, she has collaborated on numerous projects examining both acute and chronic exposures of diesel exhaust, solvent exposures, lead and particulate matter on cognitive, respiratory, cardiovascular and oxidative stress responses. Within family medicine, Dr. Ohman Strickland provides statistical expertise for planning and evaluating group randomized trials targeted at improving care provided by primary care practices to patients with diabetes, patients who are obese and/or eligible for routine cancer screening. Within Emergency Medicine, she has assisted in the evaluation of factors that lead to quicker turn-around-time and better outcomes in Emergency Departments.
