个人简介
Dan Scharf is a Senior Engineer in the Guidance and Control Analysis Group at JPL. Currently, he is helping advance G-FOLD towards TRL 6 and is responsible for thruster-based attitude control and on-orbit inertia identification for the SMAP mission. Previously, he was the GNC Engineer for MSL's Second Chance back-up EDL GNC system, the Formation Flying Lead Engineer for TPF-1, and the Deputy Cluster Flight Manager and Cluster Flight Architect for a DARPA F6 team. He is also a lecturer in GALCIT at Caltech. He holds a B.S.E.M. from the Univ. of Minnesota in Aerospace Engineering and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the Univ. of Michigan. He is a Senior Member of IEEE.
