个人简介
My main research interest is scientific computing with applications to quantum structure. I am developing computer programs and efficient methods for solving the non-relativistic and relativistic wave equations for atomic systems. From the wave functions different properties such as energy structure, hyperfine structure, isotope shifts, transition rates, and splittings due to external magnetic fields can be determined. Atomic data are needed to understand and model astrophysical and fusion plasmas. Combined with high precision experimental energy structures, computed atomic data can be used to infer properties of the atomic nucleus. The work is done in close collaboration with several leading research groups in USA, Europe, China, and Japan. The research on quantum structure is financed by the Swedish Research Council. We also have a Baltic Sea network with short term visits supported by the Swedish Institute Visby program. I am a member of the Computational Atomic Structure Group (COMPAS), an international group for atomic physics. I am a founding member of the Lund-Malmö Center for Atomic Systems - Researching processes in Plasma and Astrophysics (LUMCAS) which gathers researchers in theoretical and experimental atomic physics as well as in astrophysics.
