Bio
Dr. Pablo Giraudi, PhD: He is a biotechnologist with education in liver diseases. During the last five years, he was involved in using in silico approaches for omics datasets integration and further use in biological networks to individuate protein biomarkers in non-alcoholic fatty liver (NAFLD) and other chronic liver diseases. He is involved in the design of studies to understand at the molecular level how the fibrogenic process develops in chronic liver diseases. In this project, he will work in experimental planning of the spatial transcriptomic project (ST), in ST data analysis and result interpretation, and validation at gene and protein level, using, among other methods, protein immunostaining of tissue sections and co-immunoprecipitation analysis in homogenate samples.
