Dr. Cheung's main research interest is improving the way radiotherapy is delivered with the use of high-precision techniques and to deliver radiation safely over a shorter period of time (hypofractionation). He is also experienced in using stereotactic body radiotherapy (a very focused radiotherapy technique) to treat lung tumours, which he hopes to start using for genitor-urinary tumours, like prostate and small kidney cancers in the future.
