I have a passionate interest in developing solutions to real-world problems and particularly those posed by climate change, future energy supply and environmental remediation. My research interests lie at the interfaces between materials science, physics, energy and the environment. Of particular interest are glass, glass-ceramic and ceramic materials and their beneficial uses and production within this arena.
