Bio
Osama M. Jadaan received the Ph.D. degree in engineering science and mechanics from Pennsylvania State University, University Park, in 1990.
Currently, he is a Professor of engineering with the University of Wisconsin, Platteville. During 1992–2004, he was invited with the NASA Glenn Research Center as a summer faculty fellow to conduct a research within the Life Prediction Branch on reliability of brittle materials, including MEMS. He was one of the Developers of the transient reliability capability currently available within the NASA Ceramics Analysis and Reliability Evaluation of Structures (CARES)/Life code, as well as one of the two Developers of the NASA CARES/Creep integrated design software. His research interests include finite-element-analysis simulation and reliability evaluation of MEMS devices, transient reliability of ceramic structures, mutiaxial fatigue life prediction via digital prototyping, and determination of dynamic load histories using remote parameter analysis.
Dr. Jadaan is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
