Orcun Taylan

Orcun Taylan currently works at the IORT, UZ Leuven/KU Leuven as a research assistant and lab support engineer. Orcun does research in Orthopaedics associated with Biomechanics. He mainly focuses in musculoskeletal behaviours of the knee, foot&ankle and the shoulder in terms of kinematics, stress and strain by using in-vitro, and FEA approaches. Additionally, he is interested in improvement of the implants and experiment methodology -to mimic the physiological conditions- in Orthopaedics.
