Oleg V. Zhdaneev

Oleg V. Zhdaneev was born in Russia in 1978. He received the B.Sc. degreewith honor, M.Sc.degree with honor in electronics and microelectronics from Tomskpolytechnic university and in 2000 M.Sc. with honor in laser physics from Moscow state university and in 2001 M.A. with honor in industrial economics and management. In 2004 he received Ph.D. degree in optics from Tomsk polytechnic university, Institute of Atmospheric optics SB RAS, and General physics institute RAS. Research interests include analysis of plasma processes in metal vapor lasers with modified kinetics, neural networks for economical application, optical geophysics' apparatus. Dr. Zhdaneev received research fellowships fromTomsk polytechnic university, Institute of Atmospheric optics SB RAS, Russian ministry of High Education, Schlumberger, Yukos, Interros, Russian fund of natural science, CRDF. Was awarded by Russian academy of science medal for the best research in applied physics in 2002 for young scientists, medal of Russian ministry of High Education for the best research in laser physics in 2001, medal of Russian engineering academy for the best research in laser physics in 2004. He isa member of the Optical Society of America.
