Norbert Lang

Norbert Lang received the Diplom Physik degree from Christian Albrechts University of Kiel, Kiel, Germany, in 1995 and the Ph.D. degree in experimental physics from Ernst Moritz Arndt University of Greifswald, Greifswald, Germany, in 2001. Since 1997, he has been with the Leibniz Institute for Plasma Science and Technology (INP Greifswald e.V.), Greifswald, where he is currently the Deputy Head of the Plasma Diagnostic Department and a Project Leader in several industrial cooperations concerning the application of absorption spectroscopy with quantum cascade lasers for plasma process control. His main scientific experience is in the field of plasma diagnostic and spectroscopy, such as optical emission spectroscopy, infrared absorption spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry.
