Nisha Gupta (Senior Member, IEEE) received the bachelor's degree in Electronics and Telecommunication and the Master's degree in electrical and electronics engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi, India in 1981 and 1987, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in Microwave Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India in 1996. From 1997 to 1998, she was a Postdoctoral Fellow with the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada. In 1999, she joined the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Birla Institute of Technology as an Associate Professor, where she is currently a Professor. She has authored or coauthored more than 150 technical journal articles and conference papers. Her research interests include computational electromagnetics, antennas for wireless communication, AI techniques in wireless and mobile communication, and EMI/EMC. Her current research interests include EMI mitigation techniques, electromagnetic absorbers, and microwave sensors.
