Niranjan Kumar (M'10) received the M.Tech degree from the National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur, India, and the Ph.D. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, Roorkee, India. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Electrical Engineering Department, National Institute of Technology. His research interests include power system deregulation, forecasting techniques and planning.
