I was invited to be associate chair (together w/Torkil Clemmensen and Volker Wulf) for the HCI track at European Conference on Information Systems (2014, Tel-Aviv). I will be co-chairing the Workshops and Master classes (together w/Michael Prilla) for the International Conference on the Design of Cooperative Systems (COOP). I was a program committee member for the International Conference on Current and Future Trends of Information and Communication Technologies in Healthcare (ICTH, 2013, Canada); and a program committee member for the European Conference on Computer Supported Cooperative Work (ECSCW, 2013, Cyprus). Finally, I was a program committee member for the International workshop on Infrastructures in Healthcare (June, 2011; June, 2013). I also serve as a reviewer to the European Journal of Information Systems (EJIS), the International Journal of Medical Informatics (IJMI) and the GROUP10 conference. I am the academic advisor responsible for a collaboration between our Global Business Informatics (GBI) program and the Informatics Department (UiO, Norway) that enables students to go to Oslo for one semester. Finally, I am a member of the Society for Social Studies of Science (4S); the Association for Information Systems (AIS); European Computer Supported Cooperative Work (ECSCW); Canadian Association of Information Sciences (CAIS); and The European Society for Socially Embedded Technologies (EUSSET).
