Nikolay V. Shabanov

Nikolay V. Shabanov received the M.S. degree in physics from Moscow State University, Moscow, Russia, in 1996, and the Ph.D. degree in remote sensing from Boston University, Boston, MA, USA, in 2001. He was with Boston University from 1998 to 2007 and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS), Silver Springs, MD, USA, from 2008 to 2014. He has been with the Space Research Institute, Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow, since 2015. His research interests are in the radiative transfer for vegetation and atmospheres, remote sensing of land biophysical parameters retrievals, and climate-vegetation dynamics.
