个人简介
I am broadly interested in the effects of global change (particularly changes in climate and fire regimes) on soil microbial communities and the biogeochemical processes that they control. I pair traditional biogeochemical assays with next-generation high-throughput sequencing of microbial DNA and metagenomics to understand linkages between microbial community structure and function. I am in Stephen Hart's Ecosystem Ecology Lab, and much of my research takes place in the Southern Sierra Critical Zone Observatory. I am currently a Department of Energy Graduate Student Research Fellow working at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab.
