个人简介
The principal focus of my research is on understanding the impacts and sub-lethal effects of contaminants and other stressors on water quality, aquatic and terrestrial organisms, and ecosystem health. Through technical and creative leadership, I have developed and led projects using cutting edge technology including sequencing, or novel computational and modeling approaches to predict toxicity and adverse effects. My work also involves developing novel and innovative methods and tools to understand very complex problems, including paleogenomics, metagenomics, and synthetic biology, as well as effects on behavior and performance. As a scientist and a woman, I seek to make a contribution to the development of younger scientists, and particularly in promoting women in science.
