Nick Lindert

Nick Lindert received the B.S. degree from Cornell University, Ithaca, NY, USA, in 1994, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of California at Berkeley, CA, USA, in 2001, both in electrical engineering. He is currently a process integration engineer for the Logic Technology Development group at Intel Corporation. He has contributed to seven generations of Intel process technology, both in logic and memory. He has led a variety of project teams solving problems related to transistor isolation, gate patterning, strain engineering, fin isolation, metal gate work-function engineering, and DRAM capacitor fabrication. He holds 27 semiconductor process patents, including the original FinFET patent from UC Berkeley.
