Nicolle H R Litjens

In my present work as well as during my PhD-student period I have mainly been involved in translational immunologic research and I participated in several clinical studies involving patients. I have guided 5 PhD students (4 of which as co-promotor), 3 of which have already obtained their PhD (Dr. Ruud Meijers, Dr. Burc Dedeoglu, Dr. Ling Huang) and two just started their PhD-student period (Drs. Aafke Duizendstra and Drs. Kristel Wijngaarden). I give lectures to master students of Medicine as well as Biomedical Sciences and guide interns at our department and a technician with whom I closely collaborate on the different research projects. Furthermore, I have close collaborations with different departments within our academic center as well as from other national/international universities.
