Narayanan Devadasan

I am a medical doctor and started my career working at the grass root level. I worked for an NGO called ACCORD and developed health services for aboriginal groups in a remote location in south India. After 10 years at ACCORD, I shifted to WHO where I worked as the cluster head in charge of communicable diseases. After 3 years at WHO, I resigned from the same and founded the Institute of Public Health, a not-for-profit academic organisation that is involved in health systems research, training and advocacy for evidence based policies. In between, I completed my MPH at the Institute of Tropical Medicine, Antwerp and then my PhD in health financing from the University of Gent.
