My research focuses on including methane biogeochemistry in the individual– and patch– based global dynamic vegetation model (LPJ-GUESS). The improved and updated model will later be employed to quantify the peatland-mediated feedbacks when coupled with the regional climate model (RCA-GUESS). I am also integrating permafrost hydrology and water-soluble tracers such as dissolved organic carbons, heavy metals and various isotopes in CryoGrid 3.0 permafrost model.
