Doctorate (Ph.D.) Biomedical Engineering and Medical Imaging 2013 from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem / Jerusalem/ Israel. Master degee (M.Sc.) Medical Imaging 2004 from University of Leeds / United Kingdom. Bachelor degree (B.Sc) Medical Imaging 2002 from Al-Quds University / Abu Deis / Jerusalem • Conducted many studies mainly on Electroporation (RE & IRE) technology for cancer treatment, participated in international scientific conferences and published many scientific papers. • Consultant and Trainer of Advanced Medical Imaging Modalities (Angiography, CT scan, MRI, and Ultrasound) • Holds a registered patent entitled “Monitoring Electrolysis” and won the Active Researcher Award during the academic years 2017-2022 from Al-Quds University. • Participated in developing and installing a Hybrid PACS system, and training workers in the Palestinian health system • Principal advisor to many master's students in medical imaging technology. Furthermore, Prepared and launched several academic programs in the medical imaging field, including: • Initiate a comprehensive course in clinical Ultrasound Imaging • Initiate a MSc. Program in Medical Imaging Technology including two tracks: Radiological Sciences and Functional imaging • Renew and upgrade the BSc. Medical Imaging program • Initiate an upgrading program in Medical Imaging for technicians holding diploma in Radiography Research Interest: Aimed at developing affordable medical diagnostic and treatment technologies and environmental safety techniques to facilitate medical care and livelihoods in remote and impoverished areas of the world including: • Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment • Electroporation (Reversible: ECT & EGT, and Irreversible IRE). • Water and food safety • Radiation safety • Electromagnetic energy • Functional, Neuroimaging (fMRI, EEG, MEG, NM). • Osteoporosis. Held several administrative positions: Head of the Medical Imaging Department and Coordinator of the Master's Program in Medical Imaging Technology, in addition to my membership in the various scientific committees of the university.
